Take a look at this video to see the gigantic and interactive book developed in ExLab RUC and listen to the background story as told by the researchers who developed the idea and the installation in collaboration with programmers and designers in the lab.
Tuesday May 27 we will meet to develop further the ideas about 21st century learning spaces. Afterwards we will also continue our brainstorm on visualization to see if this theme could serve as a cross-disciplinary research theme.
This meeting is about our current projects: “Italian pictures”, “The gangway,” “Learning at RUC 21st century workshops,” and we will also discuss possible future projects in collaboration with Experimentarium, BiMus, Roskilde Museum, and DigHumLab.
We are still waiting with bated breath for the answer to our Marie Curie application.
This Wednesday we will meet and brainstorm to answer the question: Is visualization a theme of relevance to our interdisciplinary collaboration involving Computer Science, Performance design and Communication studies?
Roskilde University is represented by me in a committee of partners from different professions and institutions in the Roskilde/Sjælland region. The committee is assembled to discuss ideas and projects with the potential to further develop and innovate, among others, the collaboration among the participating partners, the kinds of services that the partners provide, and the possible new experiences that the region makes possible and the participating partners can envisage.
